Founded Sagittarius Research Group, a campus-based volunteer network of graduate-level Scientists, Engineers, and Researchers focused on developing innovation for health technology and safety improvements within manufacturing environments.Diverse volunteers combine their knowledge and experience while growing their skill base by working on a variety of projects from manufacturing companies and University research labs.

The goal of International Students Inc. is to promote international friendship and foster a faith-based nurturing and supportive environment for students that are far from home. My role has been to support and promote that goal through volunteer service and interaction with students from around the globe. I have become familiar with every major culture, religion and continent throughout my time with internationals and my goal is to continue to learn and grow through these interactions and continue to reach for the goal of global community.

Acted as the personal liason for visiting high-profile persons on Purdue University's campus. Clients included flight legends Laura Savino (Pilot and Author) and Heather "Lucky" Penny (9/11 Hero and Fighter Pilot). Managed visiting dignitary schedules during special events to enable smooth transitions from each speaking engagement while maneuvering through crowds of 8000+ people.

Manage, supervise, teach and grade a class of 800+ engineering students while providing CAD software (NX 12) and Product Lifecylce Management (Aras Innovator) training to the students in lecture and lab settings.

Worked at the Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center (CMSC/Indiana Manufacturing Institute) as a teaching assistant for a 200-Level Purdue University advanced composite materials class. The course is an introductory class that teaches students to create carbon-epoxy composite structures for aerospace applications using CATIA V5/V6 CAD software. Responsibilities include managing and supervising students in a lab setting using composite materials, tooling molds, and advanced CNC equipment.

Worked as the sole teaching assistant for a 400-Level Purdue University advanced composite manufacturing course. The purpose of the course was to further develop student skill using CATIA V5/V6 modeling software by creating manufacturing tooling paths. My role included managing and supervising, and teaching students to use advanced 2, 3 and 5-Axis CNC and abrasive cutting machines while in a lab setting for aerospace manufacturing applications.

Provided manufacturing consultation for the Purdue Solar Racing team and worked alongside the president, Alexander Chevalier, to assist with troubleshooting and preventing defects occurring in the manufacturing process of the PSR solar car's composite panels.

Generated project ideas and provided consultation on NASA Projects for Purdue University's Zucrow Laboratories. My concept ideas for an environmental monitoring drone were selected by NASA and awarded first place in the national competition. Served as a volunteer within Bridges International Student organization. Volunteering included working closely with a wide variety of global citizens and building good communication toward inclusivity. Worked as an event coordinator to promote a sense of belonging, support and community for international students studying at Purdue University.

Provided consultation regarding the carbon fiber structure and components of the team cars for the design engineers. Developed ideation for aerodynamics and composite replacement component changes to promote a lightweight overall build without sacrificing structural integrity.

Supervised, managed and trained Engineering Interns at the Indiana Manufacturing Institute in advanced composite layup procedures. Oversaw intern fabrication of the Official Purdue Pete sports and public events mascot. Designed work instructions and training materials to familiarize new interns with composite technology.

My research focused on design optimization of primarily carbon-epoxy structures. Further responsibility included teaching new interns composite structure background theory and layup techniques, making improvements to existing carbon structure design and mold tooling, and carbon-epoxy structure fabrication using temperature controlled pre-impregnated phenolic resin carbon fiber rolls.

Demonstrated mechanical systems aptitude while manufacturing and assembling multiple small aircraft for my local EAA chapter. Volunteered with a team of engineers, enthusiasts and aviation experts while working to build multiple experimental aircraft. Completed aircraft are used to introduce people who are new to aviation to the amazing world of flight through interactive walkthroughs and flying demonstrations.

In February of 2017 the company transitioned me from production over to training in the Quality Assurance Lab. I was hired as a full-time QA Laboratory Technician in March 2017. Lab duties included performing in-process and finished product testing of medical device products and R/D projects inside a laminar flow hood. Other responsibilities included air quality testing and microbial surface contaminant testing in ISO Class 7 compliant cleanrooms.

I was hired by COOK Biotech halfway through 2016 as a production associate. My job was to prepare raw bio-materials for chemical cleansing and then monitor the raw materials as they went through the chemical cleaning process. Other responsibilities included working inside a laminar flow hood in the production area and taking samples of the raw material for Quality Assurance Lab testing.

Held senior leadership positions within the Boy Scouts of America organization. Was elected Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and acting Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 148 and maintained those duties until my completion of the scouting program when I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Responsibilities included managing the 50+ members of Troop 148, setting up and leading weekly meetings, safety training, rank and promotion assessments, planning Troop activities and trips, coordinating and leading community projects, and maintaining organizational effectiveness.

From January to June of 2014, I coordinated a volunteer project with Mother Hubbard's Cupboard (MHC) Food Pantry. I was tasked with designing and constructing seven large-scale 4' -6' sustainable planting containers for MHC Food Pantry. I created the design plans (including the self irrigation system) and work instructions over the course of 5 months (January - June). Responsibilities included selecting and purchasing materials for the project. In June, I managed and supervised a team of 30+ volunteers in the contruction and installation of the planting containers. I followed up with my project 10 years later and discovered that my initial design and final build lasted for nearly a decade.
