Working with NFWF's Team, lead on the development and implementation of "Keystone" bird/ habitat conservation initiatives in the US and throughout their range. The Keystone initiatives are a centerpiece of the Foundation's strategic plan and drive its work on some of the most important conservation issues in North America. The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation works to protect and restore the health of ecosystems so that native species can thrive. Since its foundation in 1984, NFWF has become one of the largest conservation funders in the world. It brings private and public partners together to support science-based projects and community driven solutions.

Lead the implementation of Nature Canada's mandate to conserve wildlife and wildlife habitat by working with people and advocating on behalf of nature. Working with the Board and staff, re-oriented the organization to focus on being the national Voice for Nature and focusing on a suite of five "Nature" signature initiatives aimed at connecting people to nature.

Quito, Ecuador

Responsible for working with partners throughout the Americas in the development and implementation of BirdLife International's conservation programs. Over a 10 year period, strengthened the regional presence of BirdLife International including the US, Canada, Mexico and major biodiversity countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Responsible for Americas program development.

Responsible for the management of Wetlands for the Americas Canada program activities.

Responsible for advising CIDA Americas Branch staff on environmental issues.
