I focus on making improvements through Technology in the lives of others through providing access not just in the sense of accessibility, but in making information as clear as possible through multimedia and oral communication methods.I worked for the University of Central Florida as both an Accessible Technology Specialist (2018-2023) with Student Accessibility Services and as Voiceover and On-Camera Talent for the Center for Distributed Learning (2017-2023). Some of my work is showcased to every incoming Knight at their orientation to introduce them to the online component of classes at UCF. With Student Accessibility Services, I focused on providing technical solutions to students with disabilities via accessible digital textbooks, physical tools such as smartpens, magnifiers, audio amplifiers and software aids in addition to providing support for these tools in-office, over email or over the phone for both students and faculty.Outside of work, I like to tinker with tech to get a better understanding of how these devices and programs can better our lives, or at the least provide a bit of fun. I built my first personal PC in 2019 and have been upgrading it and supporting others' devices since. My hobbies include games, 3D printing, device repair, vinyl record collecting, and contemplating if I really need that PC upgrade or not.
