25 years of executive leadership in small, medium and large companies in both the US and the UK.I have been a CEO twice - once as a hired gun at a PE-funded turnaround media company and once as a co-owner of a healthcare billing software start-up company - and have been equally as committed as an individual contributor and/or coach with successful companies and teams.I started my professional career in London selling ads for the Daily Express national newspaper before switching to the world of B2B media at Wilmington plc. There I rose from sales rep to Group Publishing Director, managing over 25 international magazines and 100+ employees.In the summer of 2001 I was offered the role of President and CEO of San-Francisco headquartered B2B publishing and events company, Paperloop. and with my wife, 3 small boys and a desire to live and work in California, we took a leap of faith and made the move.At Paperloop, I led a management team to turn around a merged company with over $10m in annual losses to a slimmer company making an annual profit of $5m in just 4 years.I then made another career switch to co-launch a start-up software company providing healthcare billing software and services to California and Colorado hospital organizations. I landed the Veteran's Health Administration as our keynote client before switching completely once again to the world of management consulting and leadership development. I was a member of a Vistage CEO peer advisory group during all of these early years as a CEO in the US - the advice, support and friendships that Vistage membership gave me is something that I want other business leaders to experience.At Emerson Human Capital, The Regis Company and now at ETU I have personally brought in $ millions in annual enterprise revenue with global clients such as Deloitte, Microsoft, IBM, Chevron and many others.
