De Bruiloft originated from the idea of creating a safe and inclusive space for queer(-minded) people. We achieve this by creating and supporting community events, organizing workshops and coaching sessions, and organizing De Bruiloft Festival, the event that started it all: a fictional 5-day wedding for around 500 people at a castle in France. I began by handcrafting tables at KAS20, perfecting every detail. I then took responsibility for painting all the table tops and legs. My dedication to quality led to my role as Head of Production and Quality Control, where I lead a team of 15 people, ensuring the highest quality tables.

Wildcrafted drinks made from plants gathered by Onkruidenier gave the night a verdant edge.
