I live by the mantra, "variety is the spice of life." While impossible to estimate the number of times my mother said this to me throughout my life, and the number of times her mother said it to her for that matter, it suffices to say that it stuck. Those values, that belief, and the wisdom that I have been fortunate enough to receive from others are my "Why." I've held many positions throughout the healthcare industry, which have all intertwined with my passion for health, sport, and education. I earned my EdD from the University of Western States, my MA in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver, and my BS in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of Rhode Island. Outside of work, I'm happiest in my backyard with my wife and kids.
