Notable Achievements:-• Created turn-key solution for reporting that reduced the time to create client reports from 2 to 4 days per run to under 2 hours.• Reporting changes increased consultancy capacity by 40%.• Engagement duration reduced by 25% with greater client satisfaction and involvement.Responsible for the development of Qlik Sense Enterprise within Unified Logic. Qlik Sense is a visual analytics platform that is helping clients efficiently and clearly visualise their infrastructure data and, more importantly, isolate the critical information from amongst the mass of data noise. Qlik Sense is now used as the visual front end to Unified Logic’s infrastructure solution and provides near real-time data analysis to clients via a web-based front end. This solution has revolutionised the manner in which clients can obtain and manage infrastructure, particularly SAM, data. Historically, this would have taken days to inventory, analyse and produce reports, the solution now does this across an entire estate in a matter of hours.

During this short engagement at a large financial institute, I led the Software Asset Management team working to a demanding deadline. Overcoming initial resistance to product implementation by providing clear and concise information geared towards the specific needs of the client. This enhanced the Asset Manager toolset to deliver software licensing in a manner that was closer to the clients requirements.Achievements : • Regained and rebuilt the trust and support of the client • Developed a novel solution to meet customer requirements yet keep it within the framework of the core product set.

As ITAM Solution Architect, I led the 3rd delivery phase of the LogNEC project which included Asset Manager, Service Manager and DDMI. this solution provided a single point solution for the clients IT systems, including data centre application migration and a full asset lifecycle solution. I provided technical leadership for the IT Asset Management workstream, where I led a team to incorporate software asset management into the existing hardware asset management solution. In addition I also led business requirements and process workshops, managed the time and development QA for technical resources and acted as a mentor to graduate team members.Achievements : • This 18 month project successfully delivered on time and my workstream completed with a 8% saving in budgeted resource. • Mentored junior staff, making them more proficient and cost-effective, enabling them to deliver at 50% above their billing rate.

A short term contract to act as AssetCenter technical lead during the preparation for a planned upgrade to the Asset Manager v9 toolset as well as providing technical management of the existing system during the transition. In addition I worked closely with off-shore teams to develop junior resources.

Engaged with customers to deliver asset management best practice and advice in relation to head office relocation and data centre projects. Clients included National Grid, NYSE, Smith & Nephew and Barclays Bank. Projects had a strong emphasis on the audit, logistical assessment, asset tracking and the project planning aspects of logistical relocation and often required bespoke technical solutions to meet individual client needs. I was also a core member of the business development team for the Northern region of the UK, helping to develop the CS Technology ‘brand’ outside of London where it had been previously focussed.
