• Level II Human Factors Support Specialist for Kennedy Space Center's Test and Operations Support Contract (TOSC), prime to NASA. - TOSC provides management and services for ground processing for NASA launch vehicles, spacecraft and payloads in support of the International Space Station (ISS), Ground Systems, Space Launch System (SLS), and Orion Crew Vehicle Programs. • Conducting Human Factors work through innovative and ergonomic designs, concepts of operation, human error and risk reductions. • Using Lean Six Sigma methods and other skills to conduct process flow, efficiency improvements, training, and new technology’s • Proficient Project Management skills demonstrated through requirements definition, design, quality, risk assessment, research, technology, continuous improvement, and team leadership tasks• Planning and system validation of new technology and transitioning systems with focus on Human Factors analysis - Risk identification, requirements gathering, action plans, implementation for modifications/improvements reducing personnel injuries, collateral damage

Conduct human factors analysis on GSE (Ground Support Equipment), insuring the human is kept in focus in regard to maintenance and operating tasks. Assess current oil users/types to determine ways to consolidate/reduce/standardize oil types, evaluate/implement replacing with refined oil (affirmative procurement goal), and identify means to optimize processes, work documents, staging, and waste impacts accordinglyCoordination would include TOSC Asset Management Ground Project Management and Oil Users among most TOSC Directorates.Jacobs Company Overview:Jacobs Technology will provide overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
