Responsibilities included:- Helping develop Context Travel’s offerings in Lisbon and Coimbra, including walking tours, day trips and multi-day excursions. - With a team of talented experts helped design, implement and guide historic walking tours and multi day excursions throughout Portugal and Italy.- Was one of a number of senior experts tasked with creating the first Context Virtual offerings (now Context Learning). Have since offered over ten different virtual products and presented them to hundreds of clients.

The Rogue Historians were a small boutique travel organisation based across Italy and Portugal, the company closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. As Head of Operations my role included;- Curating customer experiences to ensure the highest quality of service and retain customers year after year. - Selecting and training a network of talented guides. - Organising guide schedules across numerous different cities and timezones.- Controlling, organising and delegating hundreds of bookings per week. - The maintenance of accounts across numerous OTA’s, and improving the company’s usage of e-commerce sites and tools. - The maintenance and building of complex relationships with luxury travel agencies, hotels, vineyards and other third parties to ensure the best experience for our clients. - Used data analysis to spot gaps in the market and of our own offerings. Used findings to design and implement new products with a talented range of travel experts.
