AIESEC's Business Development consists of finding and assisting businesses with effectively integrating AIESEC as part of their models to deliver their missions. As a Business Development officer, I was responsible for connecting Melbourne-based businesses with motivated and talented youths with a global mindset by establishing professional internships, as well as managing the logistics involved. This creates win-win situations and unique cultural experiences for both the corporations and interns.

As an oGCDP officer, I managed the processes required to recruit students and send them abroad to volunteer in community development projects within AIESEC's network of 113 countries and territories. During my stint, I successfully coordinated the overseas exchanges of four students from the University of Melbourne to Brazil, Malaysia, Mauritius and Romania respectively.The processes included raising awareness of the program to students of the University of Melbourne through social media and campus presence, delivering information sessions, screening applicants online and through interviews, running pre-departure preparation sessions to facilitate applicants' exchange experiences, providing consistent support as an exchange participant manager and holding reintegration sessions after they return from their overseas experiences.
