Worked at the Advanced Composites Materials & Textile Research Lab (ACMTRL) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell with the primary task of the development and testing of 3-d printed sacrificial mandrels for composite braiding. This also involves the research and development of 3-D printing powders and binder fluids. Some other projects at the ACMTRL that I have been involved in include the creation of carbon fiber layups using vacuum bagging, and the manufacture of carbon fiber prepreg beams with sacrificial 3-D printed PLA cores for use in repeatable, light weight structures for aerospace applications.I have been officially trained through the ACMTRL on the use of Scanning Electron Microscopes, Stereo Microscopes, and Industrial Composite Braiders. I have gained extensive experience with SolidWorks, 3-D printers, and various 3-D printing software.
