Who am I? What can I do? Well, anything I set my mind to.I am an experienced business manager. I am highly adept at motivating and developing employees to serve customers and the company. I have worked mostly in the retail industry where, for me, helping customers is not just a job, but a way of life. I rose through the ranks over the last ten years working for Lowe's, eventually becoming responsible for the performance of others, as an Assistant Store Manager. It is with this great and immense responsibility I found my true passion, leading, training, developing and mentoring other employees to achieve success.The last four years of my tenure with Lowe's as an ASM was an unbelievable and exciting time. I worked through the entire pandemic and watched my store, located in a small rural community in Georgia with a population of less than 50,000, double it's raw annual sales to over $65M. Our experience in retail, especially home improvement, was not typical of a business in the midst of a global health crisis. We became extraordinarily more busy than anyone could have ever imagined. Through it all I met challenges together with my team, and executed all the responsibilities of an ASM, encompassing both the daily, and big picture operations of a store that has become an absolute powerhouse of hardware retail in the community, dominating the sales landscape for 25 miles in all four directions.My greatest attributes and personality traits are leadership, teaching, and motivating. I thrive on helping others develop confidence, empowerment, and becoming the person who can solve issues and make decisions for themselves. Mentoring others to achieve their own greatest potential has become my mission in life and in work. With a new opportunity to learn and grow, and to help others do the same, I can be a great asset to your business in its culture and moral, helping it deliver products and services to customers with honesty and integrity.I am a professional student.
