We've designed Shower Stream: the world's first smart shower system for hotels!

I participated as a founder for 3 Day Startup at UT Austin, a 72-hour intensive learning-by-doing entrepreneurship program. I led a team of 4 engineers to create and pitch an idea for a home IoT real-time water leak alert system. I designed a business plan, performed market/customer research, created the pitch deck, presented the pitch, and designed revenue model. The idea was received well but we did not pursue the company.

I founded a non-profit dedicated to earthquake relief in developing countries during my semester abroad in Santiago, Chile. I recruited an international team and developed an inexpensive sensor and software system that would alert authorities if a bridge was damaged after an earthquake. We spoke with top government officials who were very interested in the product.

I founded the program Wind Power for Tanzania during my year studying abroad at KTH University in Stockholm, Sweden. The project has installed multiple Hugh Piggott wind turbines and solar energy systems in Tanzania, powering 2 schools in the Ikungi district: https://www.ewb-swe.org/wind-power-for-tanzania.

During my internship at Textron Aviation, I designed and created harness diagrams of various airplanes using CAD software. I collaborated with professional engineers to make the best designs possible and gained knowledge of the business and manufacturing sides in a large engineering company. I also learned the process required to bring a product to market from the initial design stage.
