TUPE transfer following acquisition of Acumension.

Overseeing projects to integrate Acumension into the wider DWF business.

Responsible for change management across the Acumension business. With a background of 15 years of project and programme management, including more than a decade in the legal sector - following a brief spell as a legal costs draftsman and commercial negotiator - was responsible for change managing Acumension’s response to major developments in the Legal industry such as the Jackson reforms, the introduction of costs budgeting and electronic bills of costs and the ongoing move to electronic working. Always seeking to identify benefits for the business and our Clients, seizing opportunities to utilise new technologies and differentiating ourselves from competitors in the market, supporting the business to thrive even in challenging conditions.Lead on the implementation of a formal change management policy and process for the business, embedding best practice change principles and understanding across all levels of the organisation and creating and managing a Projects team. Also responsible for setting up and managing a dedicated Quality team with a twin focus on quality assurance and continuous quality improvement.

Overseeing a programme of hundreds of projects per year small, medium and large in scale and complexity, relating to company policies and processes, IT systems and operational challenges.

Drafting bills of legal costs; providing legal and tactical advice to Clients; conducting negotiations with a commercial and strategic approach.

Temporary role following redundancy

Project management of revenue and capital/construction projects across the city, focussing on young people with disabilities and communities with high levels of deprivation working with central government and the charity and voluntary sector. Building a reputation as a trouble-shooter and problem solver who could be brought in to turn around projects identified as high risk.

Securing work experience placements for trainee teachers and students on vocational degree courses; developing relationships with schools and institutions across West Yorkshire.

Providing in person customer service in retail banking and giving advice on financial products and services in an in person and telephone sales role; meeting and exceeding targets.
