Vodafone Group | Enterprise | IoT Products & SolutionsNBIOT EXPANSION PROGRAMME (2017) : Managed the LPWA expansion into 10 markets during FY17/18. Working with Product Managers and technology engineering teams to build and deliver a deployment model to expand the Vodafone footprint across its markets. M2M MARKET EXPANSION (2015-17): Managed the programme delivering Vodafone Global M2M Platform to Partner markets - including MAXIS (Malaysia), Vodafone Iceland, ELISA (Finland), SAFARICOM (Kenya) & Vodafone India. Accountabilities include platform commissioning & integration combined with business enablement activities - partner training, sales readiness, Go To Market planning and customer on-boarding.• Successfully optimised Vodafone deployment process to accelerate Time To Market, reducing the delivery cycle by two months through improved risk management, clear roles and responsibilities and focus on the critical path.• Led the complete revamp of standard contract schedules to better reflect newer platform functionality, adding amendments to address key learnings from previous contract negotiations.• Updated the IoT programme team deliverables with enhancements to controls and processes, achieving closer alignment of roles with partners, improved reporting and management of critical actions and dependencies.CAREER DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP (2016): Led a project to improve career opportunities for Project/PMO/Programme Managers. This model was the first to be developed in this business area and went on to be used as the foundation for other disciplines within Enterprise Product Management.

CLOUD SERVICES PARTNERSHIP (2013-14) Global partnership with enterprise cloud provider (NTT) to re-sell cloud Infrastructure services. Roles included establishing the governance framework between the two organisations and working with sales and product management to build, stabilise and develop the product roadmap. More recently, led the development & implementation of a major “Advanced Services” extension to the contract incorporating system integration and bespoke engineering.CLOUD ACADEMY PROGRAM (2014) A re-skilling program to update our workforce with “cloud” skills. Supported HR and regional business management team to launch the program for European and AME Sales & Pre-sales teams. Vendor management of the primary partners involved (BMC,Cisco,Citrix, EMC,Netapp & VMware). ORANGE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE DEPLOYMENT (2011-13): Responsible for the data centre & cloud services implementation into three hub locations - Frankfurt, Singapore & Atlanta. Solution was developed and delivered in partnership with a Systems Integrator (Unisys) - scalable up to 60,000 vCPU, 500TB RAM and 10PB of high performance storage with a predicted revenue stream of up to USD $50m. Key to success was effective governance of both internal and 3rd party organisations - starting from the design stage through a structured version control & stakeholder approval process which extended through to Bill of Materials, ordering and logistics support to manage the 100+ cabinets, 550 devices and over 120km of structured cabling, overlaid with a complex configuration & operating model.

VISA (2008-11): Responsible for the transformation of new commercial network for Visa credit card payment and clearance service to 330 banks across the CEMEA region. Led all pre-contract activities relating to implementation aspects during a 2 year negotiation cycle from initial enquiry to eventual contract award. (Contract: USD 56m)KINGFISHER: Responsible for the transformation phase of an outsource programme. Consisting of data and voice services for 360 stores and regional offices in UK, continental Europe and Asia. (Contract: USD 31m)ORANGE (2008): Led the build out of a tier 2 data centre (450KVA) to support a customer hosting expansion program. As well as the data centre environment, we delivered the infrastructure for management of customer equipment, the operational process model & redundant network connectivity. (Contract: USD 12.5m)FOX-PITT KELTON (2006-07): Led a team of 15 PMs & consultants. In partnership with 3 key suppliers (Avaya, Etrali, Pasporte), delivered the complete IT & Systems infrastructure for a global investment bank. See also “Summary” above. (Contract: USD 25m)

GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK): Managed a team of 4 PMs & project coordinators. Responsible for all network deployment activities – included a global frame relay to MPLS upgrade to 120 sites in all regions, with high speed, dual access connections. (Contract: USD 30m)GENERAL MOTORS: Lead PM, in a team of 6 PMs. 600 site network deployment to connect Vauxhall, Saab, Opel dealerships into central GM network. (Contract: USD 6m)DE LA RUE: Led the deployment of a fully resilient hosted MS-Exchange platform & Internet gateway for approx 5k users. (Contract: USD 5m)YKK: Led the deployment of a dual site hosted security system to support the customers external connectivity – IPSec, Internet & email. (Contract: USD 2m)

RS COMPONENTS: Global MPLS network & Packeteer application profiling to support the transition from catalogue based sales to e-commerce hosted trading systems. (Contract: USD 3m)PWC: Project Manager, responsible for global deployment of a Packeteer traffic shaping service. (Contract: USD 800k)KINGFISHER PLC: Programme Manager, responsible for all IT implementation activities between 2000 & 2002. Primarily covered Network, Firewalls, Anti Virus and messaging gateways all group operating companies, notably, B&Q, Castorama, Woolworths, Comet, & Superdrug. (Contract: USD 3m)

Technically accountable for UK network services, within a global network of around 3500 PCs & workstations. Duties were to:• ensure high availability for key systems and to lead the technical team• Manage IT projects involving integration with client/partner networks • Establish process & procedures to support growing PC/Server environment• Consolidate and rationalise network services and legacy applications• Implement procedures to support quality management programme

Design and programming of PC based business systems and database applications. Specialisation area was vehicle fleet management systems.
