I had a rewarding 24-year career in financial services as a fund manager representing major US and UK asset management companies (17 years based in Tokyo) including T.Rowe Price, Mercury Asset Management and Lazard Brothers and, later, FreeSpirit Advisors, my own hedge fund.I made the decision to take time out to help raise and enjoy my family while my kids were still young. During this decade we refocused our combined family energies into my wife's career that continues to expand as a corporate board chair & non-executive director.More recently, I have found work in a variety of industries, from fundraising to software and, now, self storage.I want to use my experience to work with boards, executive teams and senior management to improve business strategies and operational processes through a more insightful use of data combined with my experience analysing over 1000 businesses over decades that drove major investment decisions during my career.
