EcoArenas also advised the Brazilian Ministry of Energy on net metering legislation that would enable a building to generate solar energy on site and supply excess energy to the grid, while later being able to consume its energy credits.EcoArenas also developed a Master Plan for the Africa Cup of Nations host country Cameroon which included modular stadiums that would meet the needs of the Cup while also being downsized for post-event operations - an important lesson following the South Africa and Brazil World Cups.
