I report on the Covid-19 pandemic, the national opioid crisis, drug pricing and pharmaceutical company activity for a variety of Bloomberg publications. My work often touches on activity in the Biden administration, Congress and the courts, including lawsuits, legislation and major policy initiatives. In addition to reporting on public and private sector drug activity, I covered the trial of Derek Chauvin, the ex-Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd.

As Bloomberg Law's senior intellectual property reporter, I wrote about how the Trump administration, Congress and federal courts influenced IP law and policy. My main areas of focus included gender and racial diversity in patent law, the Covid-19 pandemic's impact on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the Biden administration's approach to intellectual property policy. When not focusing on all things IP, I worked with the newsroom’s special projects team.

At ALM, I worked as a full-time technology law reporter while managing an editor and of two senior reporters covering esoteric topics like intellectual property and mass tort litigation. In addition to daily and enterprise coverage on litigation, policy and regulations pertaining to the tech industry, I authored a weekly briefing on the future of law called "What's Next." My areas of focus included artificial intelligence, the government's eye on social media, blockchain and cryptocurrency.

I was promoted to a leading editorial role as part of a newsroom reorganization. During this time, I broadened ALM's technology coverage beyond products to include trends, developments and policy involving artificial intelligence, the internet of things, cryptocurrency, privacy and cybersecurity. I also closed monthly print issues for publications like the American Lawyer while undertaking new multimedia journalism efforts. My daily duties included managing three full time reporters and freelancers writing for over twenty publications.
