I am currently in End User Computing Support. I have previously been in the role of Senior Systems Engineer, based at a Government Department Head Office, for the past 12 years. Along with my 2 year Diploma and 3 Year advanced Diploma in Information Technology, I have obtained several other IT related qualifications. I believe that my extensive experience (approximately 12 Years) in team management/leadership, Systems Engineering, Desktop support, ICT Project Management, installing/maintaining/troubleshooting various types of computer/server hardware/software and networking skills, coupled with my dedication to customer/end user satisfaction, will be extremely valuable to any organisation.With my background, qualifications and work experience in ICT Project Management, team management/leadership as well as Support, Networking, Systems and Server administration/engineering, I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to any organisation. I have expertise in network design, device implementation, user training and server/network maintenance on a day-to-day basis.I have been based at a government department Head Office, with 64 satellite sites (which I have traveled to regularly) and approximately 2000 end users throughout KZN. I supported/maintained 70+ Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 Servers. I liaised with my clients/suppliers/3rd party vendors, as well as Senior Government Officials daily, in a professional manner, and I therefore have the necessary people relation skills. I can easily work under pressure and look forward to the tasks given to me. I have excellent planning and organizing skills. I am energetic and self-motivated with good communication skills and I am an analytical thinker. I have a willingness to learn new skills and keep up with technological advances.
