Developing and delivering computer-based learning sessions to members of the public, plus some staff training.I have produced promotional materials and banners for exhibitions, such as Evolving English (in partnership with the British Library).Some of my time is also spent serving on counter in the Local and Family History Department, plus some stock management.

Designing and delivering digital arts workshops for young people aged 11-16. Photography and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator on Macs in a purpose-built IT suite. Enabling the participants to improve not only their technical and artistic skills but also their social skills.

Maintained a database of local social and voluntary groups, produced a monthly 'What's On' guide and the annual 'A to Z' guide of local services.In partnership with other Yorkshire Library services, my colleagues and I built and maintained a website designed as a gateway to recommended websites for people who weren't skilled at searching the worldwide web (at that time, fewer people had internet experience).

Catalogued books and other library materials, served on counter, mainly in the Children's Library.
