Have recently completed an MCP degree in Transportation Planning from @MIT. Former Member of Parliament, MP, for two terms In South Africa and former Shadow Minister of Basic Education, previously Shadow Minister of Transport. Prior to this I was elected as a Ward Councillor in Johannesburg, and have also served as a Proportional (PR or List) Councillor. Previously I have worked in real estate, training and education, strategic planning, local politics, and urban management. My career has involved planning, politics, government, leading teams, public speaking, entrepreneurship and project management, writing opinion pieces and reports, drafting legislation, fundraising and executing various campaigns. I have also chaired public debates and have chaired a number of committees.Specialties: Transport, Labour Law, Politics, Strategic planning, Project management, vision casting, motivational speaking, training and education, fundraising, political campaign execution and writing.
