Our clients are primarily entrepreneurs and start-ups up through mid-sized businesses where we help them to create products from scratch and build their companies up from the ground, using my entrepreneurial experience to guide others. We provide support to companies with Products and Brands, designing and developing those across many industries.Our teams are comprised of employees, contractors, and outside vendors in order to meet client project needs. Create custom designs for industrial paint booths, ovens, collectors, wash enclosures, and other related equipment. Took customer drawings and created 3D models and manufacturing documentation for manufacturing in-house. On-site work with customers setting up equipment, in-field as-built work with current and future customers, on the fly design adjustments between field and office. Worked with outside vendors and internal teams to create prototypes and full production of client products. Visiting sites to oversee and help with installation and identify and fix issues in the design and document for future design improvement. Client site visits to scope and determine project requirements and potential issues.

During my time at Barefoot, I provided all product design, prototyping, and manufacturing documentation for the company. I designed audio equipment including controls and speakers/studio monitors. Each design from concept through to production, including sourcing components and manufacturers, creating drawings and 3D models/renders, as well as a heavy emphasis on design for manufacturability was managed by me. I created from scratch drafting, design, and engineering standards for the company. Worked with vendors for machined, molded, and cast parts on quotes and costing and managed vendor relationships. Built and tested prototypes and worked with manufacturing floor team on each product. Designed several new products and product lines as well as re-designing old products for manufacturability.

I worked with medical devices, outdoor gear, manufacturing tools and tooling, toys, and other product categories. I worked with other designers and engineers to incorporate off shelf components, existing hardware, and provided design directions to create user friendly and manufacturable designs. My services ranged from basic concept development, to DFM, to manufacturing consulting. Working for clients of many different sizes I created manufacturing drawings, 3D CAD models, prototypes, sketches, and renders to develop and convey concepts. I managed multiple projects at the same time and brought in additional contractors as needed to support the projects I worked on.

Provided drafting and CAD support to field engineers and their customers. Worked with only existing products that needed updating, revising, or replacement components. Managed database and kept up to date using SAP database, worked with several CAD packages and manual drafting to update old drawings and create new ones. Worked closely with internal teams and external support teams. BOM creation and editing, working on retrofitting/upgrading/repairing pumps, and creating the necessary documents. Provided training on several CAD systems to other team members.
