Writing and developing film projects

Working to help design user friendly applications

Approaching 25 years experience in a number of commercial positions in BT. I have also written and directed various film projects in my private life outside BT, including the internationally distributed 2010 feature film Seeing Heaven

Responsible for the Film Club service in terms of getting films up on the service, placements and editorial, user interface and experience. This work has given me good experience of working on a VOD service and I have a wealth of background and spare time experience within the independent film sector which was appropriate to the role. I remain committed to BT Vision and am also passionate about wider media strategies and the future where independent film makers will have many more opportunities to get their films to the widest possible audience.

Away from my full time job (In Eve's and Weekends) I have Produced, written and directed the arthouse pyschological thriller Seeing Heaven (Which has been distributed widely internationally in territories such as USA & Canada, UK & Ireland, France and French speaking European Territories, Germany and German speaking Territories, Australia, Taiwan. I am also developing other possible directing projects such as the arthouse thriller "The Secret Life of Tattoos" , the horror film "GialloPhobia" and the Swedish set drama "The Summerhouse". These are evening and weekend projects, my full time work is with BT in a number of varyng capacities, most recently as a film scheduler at BT Vision.

Worked on the successful campaigns for may films for companies such as Palace Pictures. Cannon and Recorded Releasing, including: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Absolute Beginners, The Evil Dead, Paris Texas, Breakdance, Ordeal By Innocence (Given Royal Premiere), Trouble In Mind, Blood Simple, Man of Flowers, The Company of Wolves. Met and worked on PR with film makers as varied as Wes Craven, Neil Jordan, The Cohen Brothers, Larry Cohen, Donald Sutherland, Donald Pleasance, Hector Babenco, Paul Cox, Tim Roth, Ian Holm, Richard Eyre
