As a member of a large team, processed, edited, classified, and analyzed LiDAR point cloud data for use in electric utility corridor vegetation management projects. Using a combination of Bentley MicroStation, ESRI ArcGIS, and Terrasolid products performed initial classifications of LiDAR data, executed QA/QC on previously classified data, utilized orthoimagery for feature extractions and planimetrics, edited ground models/hillshades and utility corridor alignments, created geodatabases and LiDAR collection flight weather reports, all while maintaining efficiency and an attention to detail in order to keep projects on schedule, and managing and organizing sensitive, confidential data in accordance with company standards.

Independently edited, organized, and analyzed national park visitor use data. Designed cartographic and tabular products for inclusion in technical reports sent to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks for use in park planning. Prepared over 100 maps and several tables for inclusion in reports that will be used by the National Park Service in their future recreation planning decisions. Determined that the majority of visitor use at Grand Teton’s String and Leigh Lakes occurs on the east side of the lakes, and that visitors who parked their vehicles in the North Parking Lot spent significantly more time recreating (3:59:29 average) than those visitors who parked their vehicles in the Boat Launch Parking Lot (3:01:13) or the South Parking Lot (3:34:38).
