- Maintained transient analysis calculations of fusion-fission hybrid assemblies using an internally developed point-kinetics based multiphysics solver in support of licensing activities.- Maintained the list of calculated thermal hydraulic input parameters for use with the SHINE Best Estimate Neutronics Model.- Provided radiation analysis and equipment selection support for the design of radiolysis and fission-product off-gas systems.- Prepared accident dose consequence calculations, and worked with I&C engineers and vendors to downselect solutions for necessary design changes.- Prepared safety classification documentation to support design of safety systems by defining safety-related characteristics of key structures, systems, and components.- Performed corrosion assessments of systems and components exposed to irradiated aqueous uranyl sulfate solution and associated off-gas, and reviewed an independent localized corrosion assessment performed by a vendor.
