About Ian Robinson

Father of two, husband, sports lover, footballer, cyclist, budding surfer, (average) pianist.Originally from London, I started my career in media before moving to Australia 20 years ago, where I quickly climbed the corporate ladder, started my first business and a beautiful family.Most recently, I am Co-founder & former Chief Sales Officer of Beonic (ASX:BEO, formerly known as Skyfii Limited). Beonic is a global AI-driven platform that transforms physical spaces into intelligent places. By ingesting data-sets from multiple sources the Beonic Platform provides actionable insights for venue operators to grow revenues, optimise operations & improve visitor experiences. As part of the Senior Executive team at Beonic, we took the business from start-up to scale-up, from private to public, & on to global market leader in its core sectors of Airports, Retail Property & Retail. We launched the business on 5 continents & grew the team to 100, opening 7 offices around the world.I was responsible for the global Sales & Customer Success functions successfully growing annual revenues from $0 > $25m. With my guidance the Company built a portfolio of over 1,000 customers in 35 countries servicing Retail & Commercial Property, Airports, Retail, Education, Municipality, Hospitality, Financial, Healthcare & other sectors. My experience & skill sets include; B2B enterprise & mid-market SaaS & IoT sales; developing GTM strategies alongside Product, Research & Marketing teams; building & managing high performing sales teams; building strong client relationships with, Senior Executive & Management level representatives across Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, Research, Digital & Innovation functions; building & managing partner & reseller relationships; building & running a global Customer Success team; successfully growing & retaining revenues.Additionally, I successfully led the global rebrand of the Company from Skyfii to Beonic, a 12+ month process to create a new identity & positioning that truly reflects its vision & mission & that sets the foundation for future growth.What I’m most proud of in my career is the fact that, at Skyfii, we created a market for a product that didn't exist, which is now well established. And in doing so, we built a business with a strong culture and community that provides a living for almost 100 people every day.
