Developed DuplexIR (www.duplexir.com) a platform for companies, and their advisers, to quickly and easily find out what investors and analysts really think. The system goes direct to investors and analysts electronically - avoiding the pitfalls of broker based feedback, and the expense of full interview and report based perception audits.It allowed respondents (fund managers/analysts) to choose whether their responses are anonymous or not and also provides them with a record of what they have said. Furthermore, it is secure and private.System was used by a number of UK listed companies including FTSE100 constituents.Stopped due to ill health, now resolved.

Writing paid for equity research for a couple of days per week whilst researching, specifying, developing and testing the DuplexIR platform

Ran team of equity analysts whilst also carrying role as Technology analyst. Hired new staff and implemented new systems and practices to help improve the offering and reputation of the firm.Left having failed to stop my board colleagues in their attempts to raise funds from an inappropriate source (read Kleptopia by Tom Burgis for some hints).

Worked in equity sales, focused on UK technology and medtech stocks. Piper's great European adventure didn't last long - still a great company in the US though.
