It concerned matching electronically copy invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders issued by requisitioner's or budget holder's and authorising the invoices for payment. Each order was allocated a sixteen-digit ledger account processing code and where these were not set-up correctly, it was necessary to seek assistance from the general ledger manager in order to clarify what code should be used.
