Enterprise Rent-a-Car- Assisted with the automation of the infrastructure to support a multi-cloud, multi-region, multi-availability zone deployment of the Kong Enterprise API gateway to support billions of transactions per day. I architected and developed continuous delivery pipeline functions as code for Johnson & Johnson's mobile application suite. I improved the manageability of Jenkins pipelines by converting many chained freestyle jobs into Jenkins Pipelines, written in Groovy. Using a DRY, object-oriented approach, I moved all freestyle CI functions into more reusable separate pipeline functions. As opposed to using a plain Jenkins Pipeline file (Jenkinsfile) for each code repository, I utilized a global shared pipeline library so many repositories could benefit from standardized pipeline processes related to building, testing and security scanning.The result was a far better developer experience, better pipeline performance feedback, higher quality changes as well higher or more developer rapid productivity.
