Procurement ranges from managing and mentoring a team of dedicated FF&E Co-ordinators, Procurement Specialists and Procurement Analysts to deliver the Canterbury and West Coast DHBs hospital rebuild programme. Projects include complete turnkey procurement of Radiology/Imaging Equipment, ICT and AV equipment, Furniture, Hybrid Theatre fit-out and medical consumables. Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings and convert these into specifications for the market. Undertaking procurement project management with a variety of cross-functional groups (end-users, MoH, hA, architects, lead builder, supply chain) to deliver best value for money to very strict deadlines in order to meet the hospital opening date whilst applying New Zealand Government Rules of Sourcing and innovative procurement principles.
