About Ian Sayers
I was born in Belfast, UK, lived briefly in Chicago and went to school in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I am a nerd/geek when it comes to Design, Video and Animation. I love to read and walk (a lot) with my Jack Russell Terrier named Rex (I call him Rex the Wonder Dog). I love to travel and spend as much time with my family. My happy place is Disney World, Florida, with my family. I volunteer regularly and am passionate about social good, technology and helping people learn, grow and have a positive outlook on life. It is one big world with one human race.Currently, I am working with Xencelabs to show artists and designers that there is a choice on the market for Pen Displays and Graphic Tablets. My job is Customer Engagement and Training Director, in which I get to help people learn about the products and how best to use them to create amazing content. I also have my own Training and Consultancy business that delivers training sessions to end users and agencies around the world. I get to teach people to be creative with the software they have and work with them to help make money or save money. I love my job(s) and believe you can't call it work when it's so much fun! I hang out with a lot of tech/design nerds and amazingly talented artists. I am a tech geek myself. I regularly attend design meet-ups and am privileged to know a lot of powerful people in the creative industry personally and call them friends. I do not like pushy people. If you are nice, I will go out of my way to help you. I have a simple rule that is the grounding of my family, “It is nice to be nice”. I like to treat people with respect and have some fun. I enjoy helping people, and I love to learn about new technologies… Story of my life :)Countries I travelled:America (I have been to 30+ states), Belgium, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK. Most of these I have been to many many times. If you are reading this and I have not travelled to your country, then let’s organise a road trip :)
