I am a highly motivated, responsible professional with experience in music, writing and editing, and education. I currently work as Director of Music and Liturgy at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manassas, VA, a position which allows me the pleasure of doing what I like most - making music. I play the organ for Sunday Masses, funerals, and weddings, I direct the mixed choir at rehearsals and Mass, I organize weekly choir and cantor schedules, and I plan all the music for our services. Additionally, I also coordinate funerals and create service programs using Publisher. Although I have a broad breadth of experience in music with piano, voice, choir, theory, and ukulele, I specialize most in singing Gregorian Chant and playing the pipe organ.Additional experiences include teaching religious education to children ages 9-13, tutoring college peers in the Writing Center at Christendom College, fielding phone calls for the New York Department of Labor, creating and leading summer camps for children ages 3-14, and organizing events for the Philanthropy Board at Christendom College.I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Christendom College with a Liberal Arts degree in Philosophy, as well as minors in Theology and Sacred Music, and I also successfully completed the Teaching Practicum as an Apprentice Teacher.
