As Petra's Chief of Staff I'm responsible for all investor relations and Board of Director management. I successfully led our $16M Series A+ round alongside our CEO and am responsible for investor updates and quarterly Board updates. I oversaw our corporate office in Colombia and led annual budgeting and OKR planning. I am responsible for taking new initiatives from 0 to 1, M&A efforts and company-wide technical and operational strategy.

At Bumblebee Spaces I built and managed the operations, manufacturing and installation teams which took our product from prototype to volume production. Our robotic furniture system had many complex safety-critical elements that our customers trusted to operate safely and reliably above them every day.

I developed and deployed over 100 quality control (QC) stations for both prototype and active manufacturing lines, often within a week from concept to deployment. I led the installation on over 20 production lines in Fortune 500 company factories, including Meta, Lenovo, and others, located in China, Taiwan, the US, and Mexico.

Hired by CEO to take concept of a coffee machine which takes raw green coffee beans, roasts, grinds and brews them within 4 minutes with a footprint the size of a 15" MacBook Pro — and turned it into a fully functioning prototype. The result was a 430-part machine with 5 sensors, 2 heaters, 4 motors, and 2 servos with fully automated operation from start to finish and customizable recipes. The best part, the coffee was delicious!

Working with the innovation team at Sennheiser, I took on a project to design passive cooling system for beam forming microphone used in professional sporting events like the NFL. I successfully root caused and solved thermal chip failure for 15W onboard power system by designing a passive cooling system. I finished ahead of schedule and also designed a damped, geared motor drive system to accurately index an HRTF measurement system.

I was brought in by the CTO to characterize the properties responsible for stability in their innovative, spray nozzle shower head. My proposed solution came in at 5% of the cost of competitive solutions and served to validate their CFD models.

While I was studying at Northeastern, I met the CEO of Amperic and worked with him to design, engineer, prototype and assist in the manufacturing design of a novel IoT device that packed a whole suite of sensors in about the size of a hockey puck. I also helped program the web interface. The device ran on AA batteries, was IPX7 rated and made of injection molded plastic. I taught myself how to program a CNC mill we built using SolidCam and Mach with which we made all of the prototypes.

As a co-op at Apple, I was tasked with validating a new polishing vendor for the enclosure on the iPhone 5C. This resulted in new automation method using thermal signature as part of the closed loop system; inventor on Apple patent# US 20150290764.
