I have over two decades of global expertise in energy, mining, and industrial projects spanning Europe and Africa. My career in the mining industry commenced in 2003 when I joined the TSX-listed European Goldfields Limited as Vice President. The Company was successfully sold to Eldorado Gold Limited for USD 2.4 billion.After this landmark achievement, I had the honour of transitioning into the oil and gas sector with Oslo-listed African Petroleum Corporation Limited, where I assumed a pivotal role as President overseeing one of West Africa's largest portfolios of offshore assets. Through my leadership and the collective efforts of our management team, we expanded the Company's holdings by an additional 34,000 sq/km of offshore acreage, drilled three deepwater exploration wells and shot over 17,000 sq/km of 3D seismic across all blocks. This encompassed ten offshore blocks across five countries including the Ivory Coast, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Senegal. The Company was merged with Oslo-listed PetroNor E&P.The privilege of working across the African continent has afforded me the invaluable opportunity to engage with and learn from a diverse tapestry of cultures and experiences. I am steadfast in my commitment to driving the business forward and enhancing its contribution to society, particularly in decarbonisation and sustainable energy.
