I am a member of the investment committee, the alternative investment committee and the OCIO oversight committee, and am responsible for the final determination of the firm’s overall investment positioning. I had extensive involvement in public policy issues for Russell Investments, working with trade associations and legislative staff directly and through comment processes. I was also involved in developing and promoting the global intellectual capital of Russell as a whole. My personal research focus concentrated on the role of currency risk on a broader multi-asset portfolio, and the development of the Russell Conscious Currency Index (RCCI).

I developed an entirely new approach to understanding and managing currency risk globally: Conscious CurrencyTM. Russell won aiCIO FX Strategy & Tactics Innovation Award 2011 in large part because of this work.

I created and sold a range of research products focused on the size and structure of the global asset management industry. I was the top performing salesman in the company globally for multiple years.
