As a member of 1 of 4 teams I am responsible for the day-to-day undertaking of the Mobile Patrol Service providing live information gathering for the HS2 construction sites across the southern region.The project is based over an area of approx. 100 miles comprising of several ancient woodlands and sports facilities subject to compulsory purchase orders so possible protestor hotspots. Patrol routes are developed and updated as the project evolves.All patrols are recorded using the TracTic interface and disseminated to Wilson James management and HS2 Security dept.Any protestor activity is reported using report templates that have been developed to disseminate the vital information whilst adhering to GDPR regulations.Regular 1 – 1 meetings with the Mobile Security Team to establish and maintain staff welfare principles.Regular “TEAMS” and face to face meetings with management to discuss and improve operational standards and methods.Regular engagement with all stake holders including Emergency Services, Utility Suppliers and members of the public to ensure all concerns are dealt with in the correct manner

Staines-Upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom

• Overall responsibility for the security and customer service requirements for a large retail park and 4 associated carparking facilities in Southwest London.• Direct responsibility for the day-to-day smooth operation of a CCTV control room comprising of 50 cameras and associated video monitoring and recording systems, audio communication equipment connected between 9 pay machines, 9 vehicle control barriers, along with two-way radio equipment. Ensuring that the center’s Body Worn Video Cameras are downloaded and assigned for each shift and are always in a fully operational condition.• Direct responsibility for ensuring full functionality of all equipment including first tier maintenance of all pay machines and barriers.• Responsible for ensuring that the “Float” provided to each security officer is maintained at the correct level and that all monies collected are accounted for along with the single exit tickets provided for customer service purposes.• Responsible for key issue. Fire alarm testing and other health & safety critical procedures on site.• Full knowledge of the JMS ANPR system for entry and exit to the 3 main car parks and the SILVER CENTRAL system that controls the 4th including fault finding and remedial actions.• Ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times to ensure a pleasant atmosphere and experience for the visitors and patrons of the 52 businesses based on the site and ensuring that the 5000+ vehicles that enter the site on a daily basis have a smooth and pleasant transit in and out of the center.• Responsible maintaining the roster for 8 security officers and 3 supervisors via the Timegate rostering system.• Directly responsible for completing and updating the site assignment instructions and S.O.P’s and ensuring that all training requirements are regularly reviewed, and the site training matrix is updated.

• Dedicated Zone Supervisor responsible for leading, managing and delivering the Thames Tideway Tunnel contract and the day to day running of the 7 worksites within the western zone for the construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel project which will run across the city of London from East to west.• Direct reports from approx. 56 security officers including Project wide C3 control center.• Responsible for the rostering of all staff relating to the security operation on the project and ensuring 100% compliance with client requirements and that all officers are correctly licensed and attired for duty.• Responsible for the management and integrity of the access/egress procedure and equipment for all personnel across the zone and the production of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports to client HSSE management team.• Implementation and management of search procedure as required by the client to minimize theft.• Producing and updating as required, Assignment Instructions, SOP’s, Risk assessments, Risk Registers, Operating instructions, Toolbox Talks and all other relevant paperwork across the zone.• Liaising with the client at all levels from Operative to Director Level and ensuring that the G4S brand is portrayed at the highest quality. • Ensuring that the zone is always fully compliant with the client instructions and requirements.• Carry out Security Audits to ensure full compliance with SLA’s and current legislation.

Battersea

• Overall responsibility for the National Logistics Portfolio of clients and sites throughout the UK.• Maintaining full manning on sites including rostering and recruitment as required.• Rostering for construction projects with requirements of up to 16 officers per shift on a 24hr basis.• Ensure clients are visited on a monthly basis, to ensure that all requirements are dealt with expediently.• Ensure all site paperwork is in situ and is being used correctly.• Direct responsibility for overseeing all access control systems installed on sites including scheduled maintenance programs.• Ensuring all staff have up to date training for the roles and responsibilities required on specific sites.• Carrying out regular Tool Box Talks and cross training to ensure employees are multi-skilled and proficient.• Ensuring that all required Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports are filed on time• Carrying out weekly and monthly site visits both during core hours and also out of hour’s periods to maintain the confidence of the client that the site is properly protected at all times.• Ensuring the Health, Safety and welfare of all staff deployed.• Managing holiday requests and rostering accordingly.• Producing Risk assessments and Method statements to ensure Health and Safety compliance on all sites.• Install, commission and maintain the web based proof of presence recorders to enable clients to be confident that required patrols are carried out in accordance with stated requirements.• Preparing and submitting Tenders for prospective future projects.• Source and secure potential new leads for prospective new clients, initiate contact and pass to Sales Director.

East Village Stratford

As Lead Security Manager, I have overall responsibility for the planning and implimentation of the security policy on the project, this includes the CCTV system and the Access Control equipment.Reporting in to the senior management team I am responsible for delivering the mandatory site inductions to the new members of the workforce to ensure that they have a full understanding of the Health and Safety requirements and procedures on the project.I am also responsible for providing accurate and up to date financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to the financial department to ensure that the security budget is never exceeded.

Olympic Village Stratford

As a security manager I was responsible for the day to day running of the East Village. I was part of a team of duty managersresponsible for the implimentation of the security strategy to ensure the integrity of the entire site.Directly responsible for a team of security officers numbering up to 96 across the project it was my duty to ensure that all officers were trained to the correct standards and were carrying out their assigned duties to the expected levels.Reporting directly to the Head of Security it was my responsibility to compile the site KPI's and to ensure that the agreed SLA's were met or exceeded.I was also charged with the duty of Liaison Manager between the Olympic Park and the Olympic Village to ensure that the two sites ran with synchronicity

Heathrow Airport

Employed at the first experimental secure goods screening centre in the country to ensure that all goods passing from landside to airside were screened and cleared according to the Department of Transport legislation.Based at Heathrow Airport I was in charge of a team of 25 logistic agents and was responsible for the day to day rostering of staff and managing holiday / sickness to ensure the department was fully staffed at all times. Also within my remit was providing supervisory cover for the newly formed Secure Passenger Screening facility with the responsibility for ensuring the safe removal of persons with no right of abode within the UK.

Heathrow Airport

I was employed as the Control Room Manager for the prestigious Terminal 5 construction project at Heathrow Airport, Directly responsible for the CCTV and Access control Systems for one of the largest civil engineering projects in Europe. I managed a team of security operators whose day to day duties included the monitoring of the CCTV systems and the management of the site emergency hotline.
