Ian is an Associate Director based in AECOM’s Melbourne office. His 20 years of experience includes the project management of multi-disciplinary teams on civil infrastructure, defense and building structure projects in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. With a background in engineering geology, Ian has successfully managed a broad range of public and private sector projects across a variety of industries, incorporating safety management, quality assurance, development of project requirements, brief preparation, stakeholder management, design management and contract, budget and program control. Ian has proven project management expertise and skills that ensure projects are delivered successfully through diligent management, control, communication, and reporting.Ian’s project and design management skills have been applied across a range of locations, industries and through a number of delivery models. This includes management and technical roles within Alliance projects, senior management secondment roles as well as traditional project delivery. This experience has been applied across a diverse range of projects. His client management skills combined with breadth of knowledge across of number of technical areas has resulted in the successful, safe, timely and efficient delivery of projects.
