As the technical lead my team and I have recently completed a 12 month project to migrate a Coke bottling company from an aging internal integration to an API-first approach in Azure Integration Services, following Agile SAFe methodologies. This required liaising with multiple 3rd party vendors including Salesforce, Journey, Strato, Willpower, Outperform and several cashless vendors e.g. Kazang, Flash, Thrive etc. We created a developer portal to provide user-friendly access to the API’s, and we have also supported the implementation with monitoring, graphing and alerting in Grafana.It's crazy for me to think that I entered IT by completing a MCP VB 6 for Desktop Apps. while waiting tables in London in 2000. My first job began as an unpaid apprenticeship at Lynx Internet Solutions in NW London, developing an e-commerce package called E-volve. After returning to SA I continued with web development as an independent contractor, picking up experience as a team leader and lead developer.Looking for opportunities for professional development and growth I took a position as senior developer with a company in the optometric health industry, KFML Holdings. Here I had my first real taste of Windows development in a structured, corporate environment and at a much larger scale than anything I had encountered before.During my second year with Hybrid Development at KFML, I was persuaded to join a small, cutting-edge IT company, emediaIT, that prided itself on using the latest technologies, a large part of the attraction. I was privileged to attend two Microsoft TechEd symposiums in Durban courtesy of emediaIT, and I was given the opportunity to work on a diverse number of projects including, ETL with SSIS and BI, an HR management project, a costing and asset management application and a municipal billing system.I was retrenched after the end of a 4 year outsourcing contract to Fujitsu-Siemens, and joined Comprsa as a senior developer working with Fortune 500 US clients for approximately 2.5 years.I was then enticed to join The Code Group as a technical lead and project manager, overseeing the custom development and SaaS teams, an extremely challenging and rewarding role, where I had a great opportunity to develop my time and project management skills.in 2017 I decided to return to software development with Britehouse Mobility, a division of Dimension Data, and the challenge of integrating web and mobile solutions with various ERP systems such as SAP and Syspro has been tremendously rewarding and stimulating.Specialties: C#, .NET, SQL, Azure
