• Organised the generation of and training of forces to deploy to Afghanistan in 2021. Including all mandatory courses and pre-deployment assessments. Enabled recovery of forces from Afghanistan to the UK in 2020, balancing requirements of the personnel with those of differing COVID-19 regulations between Afghanistan, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.• Led the generation of military workforces to support operations in the UK. Prepared teams for Covid-19 support, aid to the police force, Brexit unrest, flooding, and ceremonial duties resulting from a death in the royal family.• Organised all military liaison and training in the Middle East for an organisation of 1500, including two large exercises in Oman. Balanced the needs of building relationships, meeting training requirements and supporting the UK Government Prosperity Agenda.• Processed the tasking of all individuals in an organisation of 1500. Prioritised and delivered the right personnel to the right task within tight deadlines. • Acted as the lead Force Optimisation Manager. Ensuring light cavalry, as currently funded, is organised, equipped and trained to its maximum potential. Planned experimental activity to introduce transformational and novel tactics.

• Planned and budgeted for the department delivering the capability change in the British Army. Forecasted experimental training up to four years in advance and managed a budget of £4M a year.• Artillery expert and liaison officer in an experimental headquarters, developing the theory for new equipment and novel technology.• Led various experiments from planning to execution. Delivered reports that directly influenced multi-million-pound procurement projects and the way the Army will fight in future conflicts.• Liaised with numerous stakeholders across the Army, NATO partners and industry. Comfortable briefing senior officers and industry leaders concisely about complex issues.

• Planned all upcoming activity for a busy unit of 120 soldiers. Forecasted training events up to 12 months in advance and delivered them successfully within resource.• Led a team of 6 specialist soldiers on high readiness to deploy globally. Responsible for coordinating artillery strikes, attack helicopters and aircraft. Commanded the lead NATO Fires Support Team in 2017, deploying to Germany and Romania: working closely with others in a multinational environment.

• Principal staff officer to the commanding officer of a regiment of over 300 personnel. Organised the commanding officer’s diary, prioritising military tasks, engagement with Greenwich Council, and management of Woolwich Barracks.• Managed the careers of all members of the Regiment. Introduced robust policies that ensured all personnel received the correct annual appraisal, directly improving the Regiment’s HR audit result.• Set up and maintained personnel documentation files in order plan promotions and changes of personnel.• Administered all discipline and official service complaints in the Regiment.

• Led a team of between 30 to 100 soldiers, including their career management, performance reports, welfare and discipline.• Deployed the team on overseas training to Canada, qualifying them to act as a high-readiness force for global crises.• Managed the maintenance of the team’s equipment, including technologically-advanced military vehicles.• Acted as Battery Reconnaissance Officer, responsible for the movement, placement and use of 6 self-propelled howitzers and their supporting vehicles.• Deputy commander of a training unit of 300 recruits and 60 instructors. Implemented army training and ensured OFSTED compliance. Managed internal financial processes of the unit, all logistical aspects to training and the mentoring of the more junior officers.
