About Ian Harper
I am currently a Legislative Assistant for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and recently graduated from San Diego State University with a BA degree in Economics. I also hope to return to SDSU in the future for a masters degree in either business or public administration.During my time at SDSU, I decided to rush the San Diego State chapter of the Delta Chi Fraternity, an organization that has greatly benefited my growth, and I can confidently say was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I served on the executive board for the 2021 calendar year as the Risk Management officer. This position taught me a lot about professional environments and etiquette, and instilled a lot of confidence and maturity that I lacked prior to my election.When I am not working on my career or extracurriculars, I enjoy watching and analyzing sports, particularly American Football and Basketball. Growing up playing and watching sports instilled discipline, initiative, and diligence when working on something I am passionate about, something I am forever grateful for.Let’s connect!
