This role demanded a mix of Project Management and Technical Radio Consultancy. O2 require integration, optimisation and operation of the Access network solutions at their special events locations. Operating under very tight timescales, liaising with Cornerstone and external suppliers to ensure mobile sites are deployed correctly and in time. Additionally managing a small optimisation and monitoring team, whilst offering technical consultancy, handling escalations and delivering training where required, ensuring a quality customer experience is maintained. The contract was extended 3 times.Special Events are defined as occasional events where the network requires considerable network changes and optimisation to counter significant increases in capacity demand, ie: Music Festivals and major sporting events. Key Achievements:• Managed the team who integrated, optimised and monitored nearly 350 Special events in 2012.• Events were measured for 2G voice, 3G voice, 3G Data with a 90% + Call success rate target.o 2012 Team statistics :96.5%, 94%, 70% over 343 events respectively.o 2012 My statistics :98.7%, 94.5%, 73% over 76 events respectively.• Personally managed, optimised and monitored British GP where O2 was ranked No1 for voice services by independent surveys, (500k voice & 19M Data calls).• Wrote special event process document and user guides on O2 tools.o (Proptima, Traffica, IPD planner, OMS & MML)• Budget and PO tracking responsibilities for the Contracted Special events Team, which totalled over £250k• Responsible for out of hours Event Resource monitoring, over 50 events• First point of escalation for technical issues on out of hours events, ie: Technical failures & network issues.

• Accountable for all network access delivery projects through EE – (75+ per annum)o Responsible for ensuring EE Access development Labs are fit for purpose.• NSN Access Skill Centre Manager – (4 Major campaigns per year) – Best FT SKC – several years runningo Responsible for SKC budget tracking (£700k per year)• Developed business case, assisted contractual definitions and implemented testing service for MBNL (n+1), o Revenue: £400k per annum, Projected EE Cash Flow Improvement of £500k over 3 years.• Manage large technical team (20 people +) including mentoring & coaching

Infrastructure Domain Manager 01/2010 – PresentI lead the Infrastructure Testing Domain, which has 2 main responsibilities. 1. NOSC testing and a technical expert support service offered to the MCO’s 2. AOP project validation against a single network element, or radio system. I.e.: UMA R5, SGSN data continuity.Responsibilities - Lead and managed:• Integration of Radio Engineering team into new testing structure: new process’, responsibilities, and customers • NOSC Validation and acceptance inc: Ru20/Ru20EP, RG10ED, Flexi BSC, RNC 2600, WBTS R2, Multi RF Units,• Completion of AOP projects inc: Rapido V2 & 3, RG10,• Numerous ANPD projects Other Achievements:• Delivered increase to capitalisation of 35% over last 8 months.• Department attendee at DDF/Pre ICB• Negotiated AN11 budget (including NOSC) to DM21 (£500K), discussions ongoing for 2011 increase.

Responsibilities - Lead and managed:• NSN Access skill centre, validation of H/W & S/W for both UMTS & GSM platformso T6 of RU10, Ras 6, Ras 5.1, Ras 5, & BSS 11.5, T2 of Flexi UTRAN WBTS, RNC 2600 & 450.• Numerous ANPD projects and RAN support for AOP including in-building Solutions such as PICO, UMA & FEMTO.• Handset Validation for OGp against NSN infrastructure, (Ceased 10/07).Other Achievements:• Day to day management of Radio H/W team (15) - Recruited and trained 70%, following the 2007 restructure.• Management of Business sponsors and their requirements, (balanced NOSC & UK)• Key author/architect in new ANPD processI kept up to-date with ongoing industry developments, to ensure my technical abilities were not compromised by my move into this role, whilst focussing on developing my management skills and experiences, which were previously restricted.

Responsibilities - Lead and managed:• 3G device testing against NSN RAN, (Inc HSDPA performance) & legacy UE testing against new RAN features.• Alcatel UTRAN Local Acceptance team, (12/05 – 03/07) – various s/w packages.Other Achievements• Built new RAN test network in Swindon & defined UE field test area – still used.• Trained and managed 3 device engineers & responsible for device planning schedule, (over 150 models).• Proposed UE E2E test plan for OGp & Ouk: EDGE, UMA, R99 & HSDPA E2E performances.

3G UTRAN Evaluation Team - Radio Engineering- Bristol - 04/01 – 11/04• In final acceptance RAN testing team for OUK Launch, (2003), - developed optimisation guidelines.• Led and managed the Ouk Alcatel UTRAN field trials team, including the T6 acceptance testing Inc IVHO.
