Skywest operated a fleet of 9 Fokker F100 jets and 8 Fokker F50 Turboprop aircraft.I set up strategic alliance with Virgin Blue to access Lounge facilities and reciprocate with Code Share on ALH and ESP routes.We also strengthened our Velocity points arrangements and at all times had our eye on the collaboration opportunities. It ultimately led down the path of a Virgin buy out of Skywest.

Led a Regional Sales Team in Cairns Far North Queensland and the team at one stage comprised 9 X Portfolio Managers, 2 X AE's 2 X BSM, 1 X Data specialist ,1 X Voice Aquisition and a Sales Suport-all up 16 strong team. The team was extremely successful and each year we had an award winning sales person attending Extreme (Telstra's national reward trip). Far North Queensland outsold most areas of Australia with TBS (Telstra Business Systems) and TBB (Telstra Business Broadband). Our market penetration went from 80%-95% and we had 3200 corporate customers under management.Bigpond Satellite , Iridium, BEAM RST400

Manager of Freight forwarding divison in WA for Ansett Australia Cargo. Team of Sales, Operations and Export/Import staff. This business unit was decimated after long term Management staff went down the road and set-up in opposition and commenced poaching customers and staff from this operation. Trading losses were $4K Per week and we turned around GL hemorrhaging to $2KPW profit.

Extraman was a highly regarded Labour Hire industry player who placed Mechanical and construction trades personnel into the mining resources sector. Extraman need to expand it's horizons and have systems in place to grow Nationally. I set up the Sales systems and put plans into place to allow this company to grow and also recommended to the board to abandon some industries that were stifling growth. The company became an attractive takeover target for Skilled Engineering.

Qantas Airlink was started up in WA and moved it's HQ to Perth. The Corporate Sales role needed to be cranked up and QF needed someone to shift revenues from the Resource and Government sector from Ansett. I managed to shift large volumes of revenues quickly by challenging the Govt. policies on air travel that cascaded into Parliamentary inquiries. Also I made several raids on BHP, Woodside ,Western Mining that led to diminished tenure by Ansett.

I was the first person in Australia to sell advance "pre-purchase" sectorized tickets in advance (to Australian Tax Office and Alcoa). Won substantial corporate business for Australian Airlines.
