I am an experienced senior executive in the ICT industry based in Sydney, interested in Executive and Non-Executive roles with businesses where I can actively bring my enthusiasm, values, skills and experience to bear.I was invited to join the Board of Magia Solutions (focused on becoming the premier Oracle Cloud Business Solution Provider in Australia) in November 2019, a position I held until the business was acquired by Deloitte in 2021.In July 2019 I was appointed as General Manager for Australia & New Zealand for BMC Software.I was invited to join the Board of PrimeQ (the leading Oracle ERP Cloud Services organisation in ANZ) in February 2017 and served as Chairman from November 2017 until PrimeQ's acquisition by Accenture in December 2018.I was appointed General Manager & Vice President for Asia-Pacific & Japan for Apttus Corporation in July 2015. For the next three years I established and led a team of thirty people across the region. Apttus is the leading enterprise class Quote to Cash solution provider globally.From 2005 until 2013 I was Managing Director of the ANZ region for Oracle Corporation. During this time, Oracle’s business in ANZ quadrupled in size and grew to deliver annual revenue well in excess of 1B.This growth was underpinned by significantly expanded relationships with Oracle’s major customers in ANZ and by winning new business with customers and in markets previously untouched by Oracle.Even though the headcount doubled during this time, the average employee tenure for Oracle in ANZ increased by more than 50%. The resulting enhanced stability and improved culture were significant factors in the outstanding revenue performance.During my tenure as MD, I was responsible for the successful integration of more than 80 acquisitions into the Oracle business.Prior to becoming MD I led Oracle’s Western Region team for 7 years during which time we became the most successful Oracle sales team in ANZ and led Oracle to become the dominant IT vendor in the WA market.
