I am a Registered Architect committed to low-carbon, high-performance design, and to providing smaller projects with the diligence and attention they deserve.I launched New Model Architecture in the spring of 2020 and have completed an adaptive-reuse commercial project with another in design, along with an urban residential project. From 2015 to 2020, I was a founding partner of DUAL, which completed several projects for nonprofit, residential and small commercial clients. During my time in New York (prior to relocating to New England in 2009) I was a project designer and architect on Infrastructural, K-12, and Higher Ed projects. From 2010 to 2016 I taught Architecture and urban design at colleges in Boston (Northeastern, Wentworth) and RI (RISD, Brown). I've also frequently published articles (including co-authoring a book), delivered presentations and lead tours on architecture, urbanism and sustainability topics.I serve as Vice Chairperson of the Massachusetts EOHLC Designer Selection Committee, and previously was on the Providence Zoning Board of Review and the Board of Trustees of the Providence Public Library. I live in a converted manufacturing building dating from the turn of the last century in Providence and maintain a small office in Boston, and when I can, play soccer, hike, and ski.Thank you for taking the time to read this and get to know more about me. I look forward to connecting and meeting to learn more about you.
