I am a filmmaker and writer from Karachi, Pakistan, practicing art through research-led processes. My academic and professional experiences across various cities such as New York, Prague, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Lahore and Karachi have shaped my adaptive approach to filmmaking, allowing me to thrive in different cultural and creative environments. My experience in production logistics is complemented by a focus on experimental storytelling between fiction and non-fiction. I also leverage my storytelling skills to creatively design marketing & content strategies for various entities. Having earned a BA in Film and New Media with honors from New York University Abu Dhabi, I have cultivated a diverse skill set that spans research methods, pre-production and post-production workflows, marketing strategy, as well as technical expertise in cinematography, editing and sound design.
