Incorporating Veterans Preferences into a Lung Cancer Screening Decision Tool.

Development of a tool to assess resilience and preparedness in health facilities in Puerto Rico. Co-led a Resiliency Bootcamp workshop to a group of 13 health clinic employees in Lubbock, Texas. Assisted with the development of a COVID-19 Emergency Response Workshop for healthcare facilities.

Main purpose is to understand the civil legal problems of veterans with mental illness and evaluate the impact of providing civil legal services on health and overall quality of life. Working closely with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC) and the Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC) administering consent forms to a little over 100 Veterans seeking legal services. Veterans eligible to continue further are administered surveys every three months from baseline for a year. Presented findings at the APA Conference in May 2019.

Supervised and delegated tasks to a team of 15 student employees in a university dining hall. Responsible for accounting for all cash transactions before and after a shift. Maintained sanitation requirements regarding food handling, personal hygiene, and equipment safety. Provided all time service to customers, meanwhile assisted in serving food to about 600 students per meal period.

Provided nursing assistance to residents in a 150-bed long-term care facility. Assisted residents with activities of daily living including helping with meals, transferring using assistive devices, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Demonstrated strong clinical skills in assessing vital signs, meanwhile complied with HIPAA standards in all patient documentation and interactions. Gained valuable knowledge of patient relationships and hospice care.

Processed customer’s clothing, which included totaling the cost of the dry cleaning bill. Handled payment transactions when customers returned to collect their clothing. Communicated with customers providing them solutions to any questions or complaints.

Received and processed payments for in-store purchases. Designed product displays to increase store sales. Provided excellent customer service, which included handling returns or exchanges.
