Recipient of the French National Honor of Merit with the rank of Knight | Georgia State University 40 under 40 | 50 Most Influential Latinos in GeorgiaEnergized by opportunities to solve local and global challenges and produce a lasting impact, I am a multicultural, multilingual professional with a purpose-driven career centered on meaningful interconnectedness, inclusivity, empowerment, innovation, and international business. Recently I launched TheSharedWorld, a strategic advisory firm aligned with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals. We drive social progress in poverty alleviation, education, healthcare, gender equality, and environmental sustainability by connecting effective strategies, resources, and partnerships with NGOs, city governments, community leaders, educational institutions, and nonprofits. Formerly at The Office of the Mayor-City of Atlanta, my positions as Deputy Director & Global Engagement Officer and Director of International Affairs evolved into Executive Director of the merged International & Immigrant Affairs Department. I built the organizational infrastructure, created a shared vision, and steered key directives for the Department. My teams and I were instrumental in positioning Atlanta as a welcoming, international city and global hub for international business, innovation, diplomacy, education, and sports as well as emboldening its foreign-born population. Throughout my tenure at The Mayor’s Office, I fostered extensive relationships and partnerships, ranging from city departments, city council members, airport executives, nonprofits, cross-sectoral community stakeholders, international entrepreneurs, and foreign dignitaries. My contributions included welcoming nearly 900 international delegations to Atlanta, securing millions of dollars in FEMA and U.S. Dept. of Education grants, and organizing events around sustainability, sports, female empowerment, business, and tech. Previously I served as Director of International Accounts at YER USA and Consultant at VGH International GmBh. Earlier I supported French companies in diverse industries expand to the southeast U.S. as North America Trade Advisor, Energy & Environment Sectors at the French Trade Commission of Business France, and Assistant Project Manager at Enterprise Rhône-Alpes International.
