City Demographer and Long Range Planner, with major projects that included managing Frisco’s $500k Comprehensive Plan update (adopted unanimously), and co-writing Frisco’s award winning landscape ordinance, and providing data and analytic support for major infrastructure projects (including a waste water treatment plant expansion and school district expansion planning) and major economic development projects (including the Dallas Cowboys training facility move to Frisco, TX)Prepared professional documents, reports, studies, and forecasts related to demographics, population, future land use, development standards, transportation, environmental policies, and grants. Publications & Communications, including web site content management, brochures, technical illustrations (for ordinances and policy documents), photo simulations, maps, and presentations. City Demographer and Long Range Planner (Comprehensive & Environmental).Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of sustainable building practices, historic and cultural resource preservation, and environmental policies for City of Frisco. Research development-related environmental impacts, identifying potential policy and code revisions. Assisting citizens, developers, consultants, and builders with City policies and ordinances, assist in the organization and planning of events, researching and preparing information on comprehensive planning and environmental issues, demographics, and special studies. Developing a new model for the City population estimating and projections, and working closely with the regional Council of Governments staff on regional model updates. Professional review and development of comprehensive long range planning and special projects, enforces zoning and subdivision ordinances, and provides staff support to elected and appointed boards and commissions. In this capacity, was the liaison to the Census Bureau and the Complete Count Committee during the 2010 Census outreach efforts.
