• Daily monitoring of the water quality parameters of the facility tanks and cleaning of these. • Collecting of marine animals (fish and invertebrates) diving or fishing and subsequent acclimatation in the facilities to later be shipped to public aquariums around the world. • Accompaniment in acclimatization of the animals in the quarantine tanks and treatment of possible pathologies. • Daily feeding and preparation of specific diets for the animals in the collection. • Maintenance of the Aquarium’s life support systems (pumps, sand filters, UV filters, protein skimmer). • Preparation of the animal shipments (aerial and maritime) to the to the destination aquariums. • Recuperation and rehabilitation of sea turtles (Caretta caretta) inside the COSTA project.

• Tourist promotion of the company and making reservations with customers.• Guide during the sea trips for the observation of the coast of Faial (geological formation of the island) and identification of marine species (fish, cetaceans, elasmobranchs) through the glass bottom boat.

Environmental educator for children and teenagers (3-16 years old) promoting education and awareness of the marine environment through different activities in periods of morning, afternoon, full day, or 3-days stays in the in the commercial port of the council of Arenys de Mar. The activities were the following:• Coastal dynamics.• Oceanography.• Boat trips for data collection.• Identification of marine flora and fauna species.• Fish dissection and identification of internal organs.• Observation of the different type of fishing used by the boats and identification of the advantages and disadvantages of each one.

Realización de prácticas profesionales. Separación de sedimentos marinos de diferentes puntos del Mar Mediterráneo y clasificación de macroinvertebrados presentes en los mismos sedimentos en grupos taxonómicos para la posterior determinación de la calidad ambiental de las zonas estudiadas.

Realización del TFG en el Zoo de Barcelona gracias a un convenio con la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona para la actualización del inventario arbóreo del Parque y un estudio de relaciones genotópicas y fenotópicas de diversas aves.
