AMBASSADOR OF JESUS CHRIST !!!Greetings, I am Benjamin Mathew, a dedicated physiotherapy professional with a comprehensive background in both clinical and sports physiotherapy. My educational foundation was laid at Don Bosco Academy and Loyola High School in Patna, after which I pursued and completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the renowned Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore (CMC). This journey included an intensive Rotatory Internship, contributing significantly to my practical expertise.My current role involves serving as a visiting physiotherapist in Bengaluru, where I apply my diverse skills and knowledge in various therapeutic settings. Previously, I had the honor of leading the physiotherapy department at Christian Hospital Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, a part of the Emmanuel Hospital Association, India. This role entailed being the primary physiotherapist and overseeing a broad spectrum of patient care.My passion for physiotherapy was kindled through personal adversity – an injury that precluded my participation in a state-level athletic meet in 2014. This incident revealed to me the transformative potential of physiotherapy, blending my interests in medicine and fitness into a fulfilling career path.Throughout my career, I have been exposed to a wide array of medical departments, including but not limited to Rehabilitation (specializing in Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injuries, Pediatrics), Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, General Medicine, Oncology, Electro Therapy, Pain Relief Physiotherapy, Neuro Medicine and Surgery, and Intensive Care Units.As a sports enthusiast, particularly in athletics and competitive bodybuilding, I have also been a zonal level short-distance athlete for Patna, Bihar, and was recognized as the Best Cadet in NCC at the 26/11 Bihar Battalion during 2010-2012. My recent endeavors include diversifying into various forms of fitness training, encompassing resistance training, bodyweight training, powerlifting, strongman competitions, CrossFit, and flexibility training.My ultimate professional aspiration lies in advancing towards becoming a Sports Scientist or a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in the Musculoskeletal System and Sports. I am eager to connect with fellow professionals, employers, and organizations who share my passion for health, fitness, and the advancement of physiotherapy as a science and practice.
